Freeing Catron County from the chains and bonds of state and federal government is within the power of the Catron County Board of Commissioners. Superseding their rules, policies, statutes, usages and customs with lawful county ordinances is the simple solution for most of the problems Catron County has been experiencing for decades.
Many such Catron County Ordinances have been county law for decades, yet unused. I keep a couple of them at the top of the list of posts on the right of every page. It would be good for all the People of Catron County to read these ordinances. The Commissioners in the early 90s insured the Freedom of the People in Catron County “if” they applied the Law they were guaranteed by virtue of these lawful county ordinances.
It will mean that the People of Catron County will have to form volunteer associations to replace many of the “services” offered by the lawless governments now ruling over us.
Correcting the first bulleted item corrects each of the problems and empowers all the solutions below. There are other issues worthy of seeking solutions, but if we focus on getting Catron County back to work again the other issues will be more easily resolved. Empowering the Timber Industry, Ranching, Mining, Agriculture, Outfitters & Guides, local business and services will also flourish. Perhaps a Constitutional based county government could be adequately financed by a small sales tax alone.
